KAMA Picks Up KHRO’s Sloppy Seconds
As most of you know, KHRO shed itself of several radio personalities such as Site Negron and David K early this week, and changed Paul Strelzin’s time slot. If you check out Paul Strelzin’s forum, you can read all about it and check out the uproar. While many are pissed off, KAMA has come to the rescue, according to the latest EP Media Group press release. From 4-6, Lisa Degliatoni will moderate a show called “Charlando con la Gringa,” which translates to “chit-chat with the white girl.” The show is slated to have guests such as the former KHRO personalities as well as Newspaper Tree reporter David Crowder, former KTSM anchor and current film critic Felipa Solis, and “the top business owners, artists, politicians and decision makers in our community.”
If I read Newspaper Tree’s transcription from Paul Strelzin’s show on Monday correctly, Lisa D’s show will be taking Strelzin head on. If that’s the case, it would be like choosing between Remy Martin and Hennessy.
And no offense to the former KHRO and new KAMA personalities with the sloppy seconds title, we just figured it would be catchy. We got love for you and wish you the best with the new show.
