In a time when almost every newscast or paper has headlines about how the “Housing Bubble” has burst, spraying the economy with cold water, El Pasoans can pride themselves on having one of the most stable and healthy real estate markets in the country. CNN’s online financial news site, www.cnnmoney.com (5/14/08), rates the El Paso home market as the 10th fastest growing real estate market in the country. According to www.ElPasoInfo.com, El paso is the nation’s third fastest-growing metropolitan area, the fourth most populous city and the fourth largest city in Texas. And it has one of the lowest mortgage foreclosure rates in the country. El Paso is currently the 22nd largest city of any kind in America.
