El Paso Goes for ABC Trifecta
By now, you’ve probably heard that ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” will be coming to the Sun City, sending West Side housewives and male patrons of The Percolator into a frenzy. And just last night, ABC featured an local international Port of Entry on “Homeland Security USA.” What you may NOT have heard, is that a THIRD ABC show will be filming in the Sun City.
ABC’s “Supernanny” will soon be filming an episode in El Paso. After helping several parents regain control of their kids, Supernanny will be testing her skills with City Council. After requiring the intervention of Rep. Silvestre Reyes to avoid having his veto overridden, Nanny Jo will be stepping in to help Mayor John Cook regain the Council over which he presides. “I’m tired of always needing Reyes or Ms. Wilson to step in and making me look bad. It’s like the 8 of them don’t listen to me and think they can do whatever they want: rewrite codes, stop the border fence, talk about legalizing drugs, dismantle the PSB. I want to let these fuckers know who’s the boss,” said the Mayor.
Rep. Reyes responded, “A nanny? No mames, guey! Use the chancla. Pinche guero.”
